Our oak panelled restaurant at the Royal York & Faulkner Hotel, Sidmouth overlooks the sea and Esplanade. We are proud to retain the traditional standards of crisp white linen and our friendly and attentive waiting staff provide silver service at your table.
Our restaurant menus, which combine the best of classic and modern cuisine, are prepared daily by our highly regarded head chef, Mark Leavers and his team. Mark’s high standards ensure the restaurant serves meals made from the finest fresh, locally-sourced produce.
Catering for all tastes
Our four-course table d’hote dinner menu offers a choice at all courses as well as a selection of vegetarian options. After dinner, guests can relax with coffee and mints in the bar and lounges.
Our comprehensive and well-priced wine list has been carefully selected to complement many of the dishes on our menu.
Children are welcome to join you in the restaurant at dinner.
Our full and hearty breakfast will set you up for the day. Choose from a traditional English, poached Finnan haddock, or whole smoked kippers. For a lighter option, we also serve cereals and a continental breakfast selection. All served to your table.
We are happy to accommodate special diets. We regularly cater for vegetarian, gluten free, and diabetic guests. Please notify Reception of any dietary requirements. During your stay, our chef will be happy to discuss your menu options with you on a day to day basis.
High Tea can be arranged in the Restaurant or served in your room.
