Entertainment takes place in the Faulkner Lounge Bar of the Royal York & Faulkner Hotel several evenings a week, and includes music and a weekly quiz.
Guests preferring a quiet drink, can take advantage of our service bar, which is located behind reception, and relax in any of our three comfortable lounges.
Free swimming for our guests at local pool
Private guests of the hotel may swim free of charge at Sidmouth’s public indoor heated pool, just 200 yards from the hotel. (We regret that this facility does not extend to those guests on group bookings.)
The pool is kept at a comfortable 29ºC/84ºF and measures 25 metres x 10.5 metres. The depth ranges from a shallow 0.9 metres to 2 metres at the deep end. Guests wishing to swim can collect a voucher from the hotel reception. Please note that certain programme restrictions may apply
