Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink 2018: 5-7 May
Exeter Castle, Exeter
A three-day annual celebration of the exceptional food and drink produced in the South West. The event features cookery demonstrations, workshop activities and the chance to meet producers and chefs, with over 100 exhibitors in two large food and drink pavilions.
Sidmouth Sea Fest: 12 May
The Ham, Sidmouth
An annual celebration of all things coastal. Now in its fifth year, there will be much food and drink on offer with fish cooking skills demonstrations, plenty of locally caught seasonal fish and other local food.
River Cottage Spring Food Fair: 27-29 May
River Cottage, Park Farm, Axminster
A weekend a weekend full of cooking, growing, relaxing and eating. Activities include chef demos, artisan food stalls, kids’ workshops, talks and live music.
Ottery St Mary Food & Families Festival: 2 June
Ottery St Mary
An annual celebration of everything the immediate area around Ottery St Mary offers regarding food and drink. The day’s activities include food demonstrations, workshops, a street market, street food, entertainment, and children’s activities.
Devon Fire and Spice Festival: 18-19 August
Powderham Castle, Kenton
A fiery festival for spicy food lovers. This hot chilli festival features barbecue demonstrations and competitions, plus a chilli cook-off competition, great music, hot spicy food and non-hot foods such as charcuterie, artisan breads, local cheeses, jams, sauces and spice kits.
Powderham Food Festival: 7-8 October
Powderham Castle, Kenton
All the delicious food produced by the Powderham Castle estate, including venison and other game, beef, pork and lamb as well as River Exe shellfish will be turned into great dishes by several demonstrating cooks and chefs. 130 stalls will be selling artisan food and drink and delicious hot food.
