Sidmouth shopping delights

Most of us like to indulge in a little shopping when we’re on holiday and Sidmouth is the perfect place to enjoy some retail therapy.

Sidmouth has got a vibrant high street with a great range of independent shops, just a few steps away from our hotel. Here are a few of our favourite independent Sidmouth shops, which should give you a good flavour of our town.

Dating back to the 1800’s Fields of Sidmouth is one of the few remaining independent department stores. Fields prides itself on “Service as it used to be”. Here you’ll find men and women’s clothing, cosmetics and homewares. With a traditional looking exterior, you’ll find it bright, modern and friendly when you step inside.
