To help you plan your visit, here is a selection of events taking place at Easter in Sidmouth and the surrounding area (Friday 14th April to Monday 17th April).
42nd Street Musical Performance
Sidmouth’s amateur musical theatre group, Sidmouth Musical Theatre will be performing ‘42nd Street at the Manor Pavilion Theatre. The show opens on Saturday 15th April with eight performances. The final show will be on the evening of 22nd April. We serve an early pre-theatre dinner for guests wishing to attend the theatre during their stay with us.
Driver’s Eye Experience
On Good Friday Seaton Tramway is offering a taste of what it’s like to drive a tram. The Seaton tram travels along three miles of unspoilt East Devon countryside along the beautiful Axe Valley.
The experience is limited to six people and includes all day travel.
Easter Art Exhibition
A selection of West Country artists will be displaying their new works at the East Devon Art Academy’s Easter exhibition. From 1st to 17th April the Easter exhibition will feature a lively collection of various artworks.
The gallery is open from 11 am until 5 pm.
Yonder Hill Garden – NGS Charity Opening
Yonder Hill Wildlife Garden is a 3.5-acre garden filled with beautiful herbaceous borders, conifer and fern collections, rare plants, unusual planting, wildlife ponds and plenty of benches from which to sit and enjoy the view.
Yonder Hill will be open to the public on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, with all money raised going to charity.
