With just over 6 weeks left to go until Christmas, we’re getting our Christmas shopping underway here in Sidmouth.
Sidmouth is the ideal place to find wonderfully unique gifts for your loved ones, with an array of independent shops selling everything from jewellery and collectables, to toys, books, clothing and homeware.

Christmas Fair at the Donkey Sanctuary
On the 26th and 27th of November, there will be a Christmas Fair taking place at the Donkey Sanctuary at Slade House Farm. Browse a fantastic selection of handcrafted items, gifts and delicious edible treats, and say hello to Santa and his ‘reindeer’.
Swap the crowds for an evening of festive late night shopping
On Friday the 2nd of December, Sidmouth comes together for a fantastic evening of Christmas shopping and seasonal festivities.
Enjoy live entertainment including traditional carols, street performances and music from the Sidmouth town band as you browse around and select gifts for your loved ones.
There will be a fabulous selection of local Christmas fayre to sample, as well as mulled wine, mince pies and roasted chestnuts to get you into the festive spirit.
Craft Market in the Cellar Bar
Every Friday between the 4th November and 16th of December there will be a craft market held in the Cellar Bar of Kennaway House between 9am-3pm. With lots of beautiful hand-crafted items on offer including wood-turnings and preserves, the craft market is the perfect place to pick up unique gifts of all sizes.
