Sidmouth Folk week

Folk Week at the Royal York & Faulkner hotel

The countdown is now on to Sidmouth’s biggest event of the year.

Sidmouth Folk Week – Sidmouth’s annual week-long celebration of music, dance and song is less than two weeks away!

Now in its 62nd year Sidmouth Folk Week attracts tens of thousands of visitors to our seaside town. The whole place comes alive as holidaymakers and festival goers soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy the wide range of activities on offer.

This year the action kicks off on the evening of Thursday 28th July, with a pre-festival concert before the festival starts proper on Friday 29th July.

Whatever your interest we’re sure you’ll find something to interest you over the packed 8-day programme of over 700 activities!

We love getting involved in Folk Week and enjoy hosting events here at the hotel.  We’re hosting three events this year, which are open to both hotel residents and non-residents. Please feel to drop in.
