Sidmouth Folk Week at the Royal York & Faulkner Hotel

The countdown is now on to Sidmouth Folk Week, Sidmouth’s biggest event of the year.

Sidmouth Folk Week is Sidmouth’s annual week-long celebration of music, dance, and song and it’s now less than three weeks away!

Now in its 63rd year, the event attracts tens of thousands of visitors to our seaside town. The whole place comes alive as holidaymakers, and festival goers soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy the wide range of activities on offer.

This year the action kicks off on the evening of Thursday 3rd August, with a pre-festival concert before the festival starts in full on Friday 4th August.

Whatever your interest we’re sure you’ll find something to interest you over the packed 8-day programme of over 700 activities!

We’re Sidmouth Folk Week sponsors and love getting involved in Folk Week. We’ll be hosting three events this year, which are open to both hotel residents and non-residents so please feel to drop in.
